Vue is an excellent 3D animation software with the emphasis on environmental effects. I would say that any 3D specialist needs to have a wide range of programs at his or her disposal, as so many 3D animation programs are skewed towards one kind of specialty or effect. This is not necessarily a bad thing so long as you can import important objects between different programs, and indeed, it can help you get exactly the effect you want.

Vue's specialty is environmental detail. The interface is more than acceptable, and the creators have kept it intuitive and simple. The main work area is highly optimized, and permits absolutely smooth real-time textured viewing. Then there is a layer system that ensures that the program functionality remains simple while allowing you access to the complete power and capabilities of the program.

Another very useful thing about this 3D animation software is the amount of presets that are available – for example, you might begin to create a scene by setting up the atmosphere. Well, there are a hundred and sixty presets for atmosphere that you can play around with until you get exactly the effect you need. You can imagine just how useful this can be.
