Lino Grandi showing the new features
in Lightwave 10 in RAI Amsterdam
On this exhibition we saw the new version of Lightwave 10 with Lino Grandi (Creature Rigging and Visual Effects Supervisor from Italy) behind the Mac and he took the time to show us the new features specially for 3dAnimation
Movies where filmed with a camrecorder at the IBC exhibition in Amsterdam.
Part 1 : Rigging in Lightwave 10
| Rigging in VPR See instant results with realistic view of scenes, objects and lighting even when you are rigging your model. |
Part 2 : VPR in Lightwave 10
| Fullscreen preview rendering in VPR Lightwave gives you a Full screen preview. With OpenGL overlay you can animate and see the controls of the bone structure. |
Part 3 : Rendering in Lightwave 10
| LightWave 10 provides a motion-picture-quality render engine in addition and again amazingly very fast. |
Part 4 : Stereoscopic view in Lightwave 10
| CG Hardware shading enhancements You can check easily the Stereoscopic Anaglyph view with the red and green colors instantly on screen. |
Part 5 : VPR in multiple viewports in Lightwave 10
Lightwave 10 give you Full screen preview in multiply viewports in high resolution with OpenGL overlay. |
Part 6 : Next Generation Lightwave Core
| Lightwave CORE is the next generation development and the foundation for 3D products at NewTek. Eventually it will be replaced by Core in about two or three years. |
Part 7 : Creating dynamics in Lightwave Core
| The interface of CORE is slightly different from The Lightwave we all know. For example creating dynamics in Core is quiet easy. |
Part 8 : Lightwave Core dynamics falling sphere
Integrated dynamics and simulation |
Part 9 : Lightwave Core VPR and dynamics
CORE integrates the popular Bullet Physics Library into the CORE unified dynamics solver. Bullet supports both rigid body and soft body collisions. Also directly visible in VPR viewport. |
Part 10 : Lino Grandi about Lightwave 10
Special thanks to the Newtek team in Amsterdam and off course Lino Grandi for his time and his amazing demostration in Lightwave 10.
